Clinical Truth > Honor

Who gives a fuck about anything?
It seems like everything nowadays is draped in a velvet shroud of bullshit. Doctors seem most alive when operating as a function of prestige (not expertise/wisdom/judgement). Even medical school seems to focus on professionalism instead of teaching. When all metrics become secondary, you lose track of the primary target, which in medicine should always be the raw outcome of the patient's condition. But the importance of clinical truth > honor is a virtue extending beyond clinical contexts. When operating with clinical truth you are essentially asking yourself "Do I actually care about what I am aiming towards". Honor is ill-defined, distortable, and scientifically useless. Honor is a variable in the equation for emotion. It is a tool for control (Ex: Lawyers, governing systems, religion). Clinical truth (AKA raw data) admits fallibility in perception/judgement, and asks God for a light to guide you through the fog of the mind.
Collect data obsessively. Think of it as a form supernatural truth. It is noble to force yourself to collect data even when you don't feel like it.
